Anthoanette Kommeh (Ahadzi)
My name is Anthoanette Kommeh (Ahadzi), and I am a Ph.D. candidate in International Conflict Management. My research broadly explores how nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) design and implement gender-transformative approaches within development and service-delivery systems, examining how organizational policies and practices influence participation, outcomes, and long-term social change.
I am the Founder and Executive Director of the Warrior Queen Emerge Network, a nonprofit dedicated to women's empowerment through mentorship, leadership development, advocacy, and community engagement. Through this work I translate research into practice, cultivating leadership capacity and expanding pathways for women to influence change.
My broader interests span gender and development, NGO and nonprofit management, digital inclusion, social capital, community resilience, and conflict transformation. If you'd like to discuss research, collaboration, or community work, please email me at annettekommeh@gmail.com.
